How Hard Is It To Update Your School Signage?

It’s easy! Our signs for schools come with a remote control and HD signs come with software that allows you to update your signs from anywhere with internet access. It will take a few updates to really learn your way around, but you can assign a staff member or student to schedule the update. Creating artwork is easy too! Or you can just select from dozens of pre made templates and designs.

This includes scheduling different messages for drop off, pick up, midday, after school, and weekends. As you can see, you have far more options than limited changeable letter signs.

What Kind Of Digital School Signage Should I Order For My School?

We have a variety of school signage to choose from. This could include an LED logo sign, a text-only scrolling sign with few fun graphics, or an HD sign that can display images, video, and text. Or a monument sign, with a fixed monument, LED sign, and address all tiered together. Oh, and yes, you can layer more than one sign!

How Many Digital School Signage Do I Need?

This is entirely up to you! School Signage are often two-sided so that they can be viewed from both directions, but it really depends on the placement of your sign. Along the roadway or main pick up and drop off area is the most popular option, but you may also place a sign at your primary courtyard (like USC did in their campus!), main doors, office area, as a menu board, gift shop price list, and more.

You can layer your signs in a variety of combinations. The most popular option for schools is a logo sign with a message board underneath.

Can I Order My LED Sign In My School Colors?

Yes! The sign itself is black, like a flat screen TV, but much more robust, and has built in programmability. However, signs must be mounted on a secure base—with or without a steel frame. Choose a brick base in a color that matches your school exterior or a steel pedestal. The steel pedestal and frame come in any color, just send us over the color you wish to use, or a hex code for the color you are interested in. Our talented designers will come up with a mockup within 72 hours! We make the sign buying process completely easy.

How Will My Electronic School Signage Be Mounted?

Your sign can be mounted in a variety of ways, including a brick or a steel base. The size and weight of your sign play a contributing factor as to how it can be mounted—and even how wide or tall the mount can be.

Oversized school signage displays must be mounted on a steel pedestal or a low and wide brick base. A standard brick base for an oversized sign is 18 feet off the ground and 76 feet wide. Steel pedestals can be mounted at either 40, 48, 60, 72, or 84 feet off the ground. Custom mounting is an option and signs can also be mounted to walls and building exteriors.

Don’t forget, the mounting location must be approved for stability and local license/permit requirements.

What Type Of Information Should I Post On My School Signage?

Post anything you want and alternate a variety of signs! Provide general information such as the weather, date, and time. Post a school spirit message or inspirational quote. Share the lunch menu. How Long Will My School Signage Last?

With regular maintenance and care, your new sign will last approximately 11 years or 100,00 hours. However, this is interdependent on a variety of other factors as well.  You can leave your sign on day and night or turn it off at night.
