How Difficult Is It To Program Business Signage?
It’s not difficult at all! Some of our business signage come with a keyboard-style remote control and our more advanced signs come with intuitive software. Your employees can quickly and easily be trained to use the remote or software, and the software can update your sign remotely.
The remote comes with 38 character functions, 32 special effects, and over 300 images and animations. The software allows you to preschedule ads and displays, allocate how many seconds each display is on screen, and rotate between displays.

Does my Business Signage come with designs?
To ensure you are set for success, we provide a full year of sign design with your purchase! We also offer free training so that you and your team can learn to do it yourself—and lifetime support when questions arise. Text-only signs and signs with ready-made graphics take minutes to update. Our full-function and HD sign software comes with dozens of premade templates and designs so that you don’t always have to hire a sign designer.
After your 12 months of free sign design, you may want to hire a designer. Or check to see if you have a team member with design skills. Just make sure the person you hire or delegate design to internally specializes in digital sign design to take full advantage of size, scale, and motion graphics.
What type of Digital Business Signage should I order?
As you can see, we have multiple options to choose from. Depending on your needs, you may require a variety of sign sizes and sign types. Your sign can be ordered in any square or rectangular size you like. For exterior signs, you may want to layer a few signs. For example, a logo sign layered over an HD sign for images and videos with a text-only sign below.

Can I order my business sign in my brand colors?
Yes! While the screen is black, the frame and mount can be stylized for branding or to match your building exterior. If your business signage will have a steel pedestal and frame, send us your logo or hex code color and we will match it.
We can also select a brick or masonry base to match your building exterior, we can build a custom base, or you can build your own to match. If we will be building it for you, we’ll send over a mockup of your frame and base within 72 hours.
Is mounting included with my quote?
Yes! First and foremost, we provide a pressure-free, no-obligation, truly free quote. Your quote includes mounting your LED business signage, and if required, your frame and base. We strongly advise against mounting your sign yourself, as even large flat-screen TVs should be professionally mounted.
When needed, our team of nationwide technicians will reinforce the wall, building, or area your sign is being mounted to. We never mount anywhere we are not confident your sign will be secure. The higher off the ground and the larger your sign is, the stronger the mount must be—which means a steel mount will be required.
What if my business signage is vandalized?
Your new business signage is a significant investment, so rest assured that it is vandal-proof. It has a linoleum coating finish to ensure that graffiti washes right off. They are also extremely durable and able to sustain hard hits with a baseball without cracking, shattering, or malfunctioning—so feel free to place them in your gym or sports arena.
How far will my digital business signage be visible from?
The viewing distance of your new business signage varies depending on a variety of factors, including the size, pixel pitch/resolution, and how high it’s mounted. That being said, even our smallest scrolling message boards can be viewed up to 200 feet away.
Billboards and large HD signs can be viewed from multiple blocks away. However, distance may not be the objective of every sign, so we will work with you to ensure the ideal resolution/pixel pitch.
How long will my new business signage last?
With proper mounting and annual maintenance, your sign will last approximately 100,000 hours. If left on 24/7, this is approximately 11 years. If you only have your business signage on during business hours, it can last much longer. We have clients whose signs are still going strong up to 20 years later!
Will my new business signage be energy efficient?
Yes! As you may know from your home lighting, LEDs are far more efficient than standard light bulbs. On average, your sign is 30% more energy efficient than signs with fluorescent or incandescent light bulbs.
What if I live somewhere with extreme temperatures?
Mega LED Technology custom builds every sign to each client’s precise specs. This includes the internal components required for your local weather. Our technology has been temperature tested in an environment chamber to ensure it can withstand rain, snow, ice, dry heat, humidity, and temperatures ranging from 160 degrees Fahrenheit to 40 degrees. We have signs placed in every temperature in North America including the extreme heat of the Death Valley and the extreme cold, ice, and snow of the Midwest.
To further our commitment to you, our customer, we heat and cold treat every one of our signs to ensure that they will last in extreme environments. No sign goes out without a rigorous treatment and inspection in one of our extreme environment chambers.
